Emotional intelligence is the ability of a person to manage his emotional life with intelligence; maintain emotional harmony and disclosure through self-awareness skills, self-control, self-motivation, empathy and social skills. The purpose of this research was to look the effect of PBL on mathematics learning to the students’ emotional intelligence. This study was used quasi experimental with one group pretest posttest design. The subjects were 38 students of VIII-B. The result showed there was an effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) on mathematics learning to the emotional intelligence of junior high school students. The influence is a positive influence. Activities in PBL contribute to the development of students' emotional intelligence.
2020-03-02T03:04:54+00:00 Copyright (c) 2020 Curup Annual Conference on Math (CACM) http://720972.ihk5u.group/index.php/cacm/article/view/2 Respon Siswa terhadap Penggunaan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Berbasis Konteks Lubuklinggau dengan Pendekatan PMRI 2020-03-05T10:42:19+00:00 Idul Adha, Rani Refianti [email protected]
The purpose of this study was to determine student responses to the use of the Lubuklinggau context-based worksheet on the subject of integers in class VII SMP N 8 Lubuklinggau. This research refers to development research using a 4-D research model that has been modified to become 3-D. The data collection technique used in this study was the provision of questionnaire responses after learning to use the Lubuklinggau Context-based worksheet was completed. Based on the results of the questionnaire responses obtained information on the average score of 72.5% student responses in the good category. This shows that overall students gave positive responses to the use of student worksheets (LKS) based on the Lubuklinggau context with the PMRI approach.
2020-03-02T03:38:10+00:00 Copyright (c) 2020 Curup Annual Conference on Math (CACM) http://720972.ihk5u.group/index.php/cacm/article/view/9 Desain Soal Matematika Model PISA Menggunakan Konteks Lubuklinggau 2020-03-05T10:17:47+00:00 Elya Rosalina, As Elly S [email protected]
The purpose of this study is to design a mathematical problem PISA model using the Lubuklinggau context for junior high school students. The subjects in this study were grade IX students of SMP Negeri 5 Lubuklinggau. In this study, researchers used a research method of development or known as research and development. The Development Model in this research refers to the development of a 4-D model which consists of 4 stages, namely the defining stage, the design stage, the development stage and the disseminate stage. But in this study, researchers limit the development stage only to the design stage (design). In accordance with the demands of the 2013 curriculum, learning is student-centered which is a good learning activity. It can be interpreted that learning is used as a reference to systematic activities in communicating subject matter to practice Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Higher order thinking skills in learning is one form of implementation of the 2013 curriculum. In general, HOTS measures the ability in the realm of analyzing (C4), evaluating (evaluating-C5) and creating (C6-creating). Learning and evaluation activities carried out in the learning process should be oriented to HOTS. HOTS in mathematics is a continuous and consistent process for training students, from the beginning of the learning activities to the evaluation. By facilitating students to be good mathematical problem solvers, with contextual and diverse problem-based. The final goal of learning mathematics by increasing students’ mathematical thinking ability is directed to have the ability to think to a high level, namely higher order thinking.
2020-03-02T08:19:46+00:00 Copyright (c) 2020 Curup Annual Conference on Math (CACM) http://720972.ihk5u.group/index.php/cacm/article/view/11 Pengaruh Kecemasan Matematika terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Terpadu Kota Bengkulu 2020-03-10T02:20:10+00:00 Nur Yuliza [email protected]
This research is a quantitative study that discusses the influence of anxiety and mathematics learning outcomes of students in the eighth grade students of integrated Muhammadiyah Middle School in Bengkulu City. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of anxiety in mathematics learning of eighth grade students of the integrated Muhammadiyah Middle School in Bengkulu City and to find out how much influence between anxiety on the mathematics learning outcomes of the eighth grade students of the integrated Muhammadiyah Middle School in Bengkulu City. The data in this study were obtained from a questionnaire to determine anxiety and learning outcomes obtained from learning test results. Data collection in this study using a questionnaire. Based on the results of the study it was found that, the activeness of students increased each cycle with an average score of cycle I was 54 with the category of moderately active and the average score of the cycle II was 65 with a very active category. Student activeness increases because 1) researchers create heterogeneous groups, 2) researchers always appoint students who are less active to present their work in front of the class, 3) researchers always appreciate students who are active in class by providing additional grades 4) teachers always motivate students lack of enthusiasm in learning.
2020-03-02T08:49:35+00:00 Copyright (c) 2020 Curup Annual Conference on Math (CACM) http://720972.ihk5u.group/index.php/cacm/article/view/13 Analisis Kesalahan Konsep dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Operasi Penjumlahan dan Pengurangan Pecahan Campuran 2020-03-10T02:25:16+00:00 Meltedi Safutra [email protected]
This article describes the location of students' misconceptions in solving the problem of adding and subtracting mixed fraction operations. This research is a descriptive study that aims to provide a description of concept errors made by students in solving problems on the subject of the addition and subtraction of mixed fractions. The data in the study were obtained from the results of student tests, then students who obtained low scores were interviewed based on the results of the tests they obtained. Based on the test results and the results of interviews obtained that in solving the problems of adding and subtracting mixed fraction operations, it was seen that the location of the students' mistakes was as follows: 1) error in linking two concepts, 2) misinterpreting data in calculating because it is not through.
2020-03-02T09:06:36+00:00 Copyright (c) 2020 Curup Annual Conference on Math (CACM) http://720972.ihk5u.group/index.php/cacm/article/view/14 Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Peserta Didik SMPN 17 Kota Bengkulu 2020-03-10T02:27:21+00:00 Tabah Ati Diana [email protected]
Good learning is learning that can lead students to be able to be creative, creative and facilitate students to contract their mathematical knowledge.
